Which monitor is correct?

    I've got my E8400 @ 3.71 ghz and on idle HWMonitor reads:

    core 0 = 39c
    core 1 = 35c

    Real Temp reads:

    core 0 = 27c
    core 1 = 24c

    Which is more reliable?

    try speedfan, that's what I use and I find it very reliable.

    or you could take the temps from speedfan and see which two temps are the same, and go with that.
