Which new mobo/processor for my new rig?

Anyone feel like spending my money? :) Well, not literally, but I could use a little help with picking out a new motherboard, processor, & memory.

What would you suggest? I have always went with Intel based systems in the past but I would consider an AMD based rig this time around since I could probably get "more" for my money that way. That being said, my budget is $125-175 total, my needs are:

Processor speed of around 2.5 Ghz (lower speeds OK), matching mobo, and >768MB RAM (perhaps a GB of memory if funds allow?).

...and I already have the following on order and/or salvaging from my old system:

-new case (Raidmax Mustang on order)
    -power supply, Antec "True" 480watt
-old IDE based hard drives (new 80GB Western Digital 8mb cache on order),
    cd-burner/reader, floppy, etc
-All In Wonder Radeon 8500DV vid card (might upgrade, undecided)

My old processor and motherboard are in the sig btw. Would love to hear your suggestions. Thanks for helping. :)

for 175$ you cant buy a new mobo/cpu at those speeds with 768mb ram unless your going oldschool like celeron/mobo and sdram.

Omegamerc - That's interesting, but like I mentioned above, slower processor speeds are OK with me (perhaps something around ~2.0 Ghz instead of 2.5Ghz?). Of course it doesn't have to be the latest and greatest, since I am working with a limited budget (my old processor is dead & board is damaged btw) but I appreciate the response. :)

~Pyrate~ - I checked out that link (thanks), I may consider that bundle since I would like to keep the processor/mobo/memory cost under $175.
Also, I don't play video games anymore so I'll probably just keep the vid card (I like the tv-tuner feature on it too).

I've been checking out Mwave, Newegg, and now Tiger Direct...advice still welcome, especially if you have put together a recent build - would love to hear your experience. Thanks again.
