Which Nvidia 560 Ti?

I've decided to trust the wisdom of Shinanigans (many thanks) as per http://games.on.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=129047 and get a Nvidia 560 Ti so I can play Skyrim.

I'll be updating from an ATI 4870 so I think it'll make a significant improvement.

The rest of my PC consists of Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40Ghz & 4 GB Ram and I guess I'll be upgrading these bits next/later.

I've done some looking and there are heaps of different card types and manufacturers. I'm thinking this looks about what I want http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/n560oc-gigabyte-nvidia-gtx560-p-50228.html?sort=2a.

I'd still like any advice or feedback as to whether there is a better brand or value for buck card I should consider, it's rare I get the oportunity to upgrade so really need to make the most of it!

As I said the upgrade is mainly because I want to play Skyrim and have it look as good as I can within my budget limit of $250AUS; maybe a tiny bit more to cover postage.

I'd really appreciate any input (or output as it may be)....

 

To play the game at MAX with AA enabled, you're probably going to need a GTX 570 / HD6970.

The 560 Ti should do a great job without AA enabled. This is assuming you're gonna play at a high resolution.

Also be sure to invest in a good quality PSU for your system, now that you plan to have a powerful video card.

Top brands include: Corsair, Seasonic, XFX, PC Power and Cooling
