I'd use it for browsing, chat, word processing, and cd/dvd/mp3 playback. Not much else.

#2, but im not sure how dvd-playing would handle on either of those IGP.

 

If I may ask, why the Acer?

It surprises me, I thought the Pentium M was a lot better than the Sempron and GMA 900 was better than the SiS ... but I might be underestimating those things.

 

They are, when your coming in terms of "needed performance" ie, Photoshop ,or a new video game, but since your not doing them for either, why bother?
