I need to buy one of these two... Please tell me which one is better...

 

STOCK:

Well from pesonall exp the ATI has a 240/200 (GPU/MEM) but the ASUS you have there has 250/400 so in basic terms it is a FASTER card, damn I have the ATI.

OC:
But the Sapphire will come w "unlocked" BIOS and thus you can OC if you want and push it further, not sure about the ASUS on this aspect.

As far as the other tech specs go I'm at a loss except the ATI has Pixel Shader v1.4 and the Vertex Shader v1.1. This can mean the difference btwn what games you can play w qual.

 

Wow! I'm still lost as in which card I should buy out of those two and why... Thanx for the post though. That let's me know from your experience.

I know nothing about OC, sorry. I mean you said I can do something to push it further?

Once again your making me feel as if the ATI is better...

A friend of mine told me this:

That is what he says... Can anyone back this claim? I need to know which one of the two I should get exactly... I mean he says the Geforce depends on the processor.

You have to remember one thing. My pc specs... and processor specs... read below my posts and also judge the cards preformance on that....

 

Both are as good as each other,if its only for surfing and word proc,I wouldnt even spend that much,you could buy a full used comp with a video card in for $50,I'd be only looking to spend $15 max on a video card for your machine as long as it works its good enough,a second hand geforce 2 I'd be looking at

How can I know if it's fake or not? Or have they just not updated there site?

My budjet is as is.. anything under $65 that will push to the max.

Well I got the "ATI Sapphire Radeon 9550 256MB 128Bit AGP8X V+D+T" video card.
