I think it would be useful if you decided if you want a Windows Laptop or an Apple. I would also limit your list to 5 laptops, I doubt anyone is going to spend hours browsing for info on a list that long.

My advice. Don't bother with anything with smaller than an 80GB hard drive or less than 512MB memory. Then eliminate any laptops which share the graphics memory with the RAM, if you're looking for graphics performance you want a dedicated graphics card.

I think it would also be useful if you let us know what you want the graphics performance for. Gaming or design / multimedia work?

 

Also, in respect of future upgrades some are easier to work with than others. For example, the replacement proceedure for HDs to most Dells is very easy....
