Which one is a better board in terms of reliability and performance?

Hi,

Simple question:

Among Intel, ASUS and Mercury Boards, in 945 and G31 chipset, which one do you think is a better option in terms of Reliability, Service and performace (in that order)?

 

Boards are like cars, you can get a lemon from any manufacturer, just go to Newegg and look at a few customer reviews for each brand, not everyone is happy and there will be dead board returns for all brands.

That said Asus is probably the best at reliability and performance although their customer service is probably the worst. They don't seem to care an iota about you, once they have your money your on your own unless you RMA. Their web site really sucks too, its no help at all if your having problems and if you e-mail they take their time getting back to you if at all. For good service then Intel would be my choice, I have no experience with Mercury, as a matter of fact I never heard of them or have seen any of their boards on the shopping web sites.

 

Oh you should have seen the mercury website! They have NO DRIVERS on it, wrong information everywhere and worst of all NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Yes, they have a page that claims to be the customer support email page.... but no matter how many and how long you write to them THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT EXIST hence they will NEVER reply back to you.
