Which PDA is the best?

I have a Palm Z22 PDA; but now that Palm has gone the way of all things I need to replace it with something made by a company with forward-looking longevity.

I have looked around but being a bear of little brain in such things I don't know what brands are the best. I don't need to spend more money on something that will have no support, or even a company, shortly after I buy it.

Any help out there? It would be greatly appreciated.

A PDA? Honestly I feel the smartphones have made those obsolete. I can manage my contacts, appointments and play Angry Birds. Do you really NEED a PDA?

The Android phones are nice and the iPhone is the phone all are measured against. I have used an iPhone for many years and just can't seem to use anything else.

Already have one but they seem to be out of vogue. Palm got bought out by HP so there is no support for the one I have. If I want to get another one it certainly won't be a Palm.
