Which TV for gaming?

I am looking at these TV models and wondering if I should avoid any of these? I know more expensive 1080p are more detailed but I'm concerned with things like blur or bad image quality at a $300-400 price range.

    Panasonic LCD 32" 720p 60mz 2xhdmi $250
    L.G LCD 32" 720p 60mhz 2x hdmi $299
    SONY LED 32" 720p 60mhz $399
    L.G Plasma 42" 720p 60mhz $399

Does an LED/LCD TV have noticeable blur or ghosting where a plasma wouldn't? Should I only buy plasma for gaming?

Also are PC LCD monitors and LCD TV's any different for gaming?
Or are they the same thing with different input/outputs?
I only ask 'cause the price is so different it makes me wonder what the difference is.

    Thanks for any feed back.

Listen, I own a plasma so I'm kind of biased.

But, a superior refresh rate, contrast ratio of at least 2M:1, and upwards of 5M:1, and no backlight to wash the picture, how can you go wrong?

    Just MHO...

Viewing angle is also an issue where, up until recently, Plasma sets beat LED and LCD TVs hands down.

If you're viewing the screen at an angle on an older (or cheaper) LCD/LED set, the picture will tend to wash out - sometimes as little as 20 degrees off center. If shopping for a TV, this is something you want to literally look at on the store demo unit.

Plasma's downside? The screen is much shinier than LED/LCD sets. If light hits it directly (sunlight or room lights), you will see a reflection. Plasma's upside? The glass on the screen is more durable than a LCD/LED panel - something to think about if you have young kids or pets that like to paw at the TV screen.

Well it turns out plasma is out for me 'cause it only comes in 42". It turns out that's too big for me 'cause i'll need a smaller screen to look at up close.

My main concern with LED is brightness uniformity, as I got this horrendous BENq monitor and the brightness was so splotchy it hurt my eyes. I've gotten mixed messages on how much of an issue this with LEDs.

Are ALL edge lit LED's going to have splotchy brightness uniformity?
'cause right now it's like I have to choose between LCD's having a cheaper image
and LED's having bad brightness uniformity. If the bluring or ghosting on both LED and LCD 60mhz TV's are the same maybe I should just stick with LCD?
