    Is anyone familiar with this "White Label" designation? I'm in the market for a HDD and would like to be informed in order to make a wise decision.

    Personally, I would just purchase a HDD from a reputable seller - Amazon, ebuyer among others. Then you have recourse if there are problems. I doubt the white label bit will matter.
