Who Did This Song?

Is there anyone else out there who, like me, loves '80s hard rock and metal? If you do, maybe you can help me out here. I have, in my vast music collection, on an audio tape (yeah, I know, that's really old school, ain't it? ), a song by a band I have yet to figure out. The first verse and chorus are as follows (I can't ever remember all of the lyrics to the second verse, but I'd hope this would be enough):

At first, I thought it was Cinderella, and if you have ever heard the song, you'd understand why I thought that way; this band's lead singer sounds a lot like Cinderella's lead singer, Tom Keifer. However, after looking through their entire discography's lyrics, I found that they didn't do the song, and have been unable to figure out who the hell does.confused I am just at a loss right now, and hoping SOMEONE, ANYONE out there could help me. I would really appreciate it, more than you'll ever know.

Yeah, it seems this may be the only site that has all of those lines now, since I posted them. I tried Google before I posted that question here, and came up with nothing, anyway. I'm just really hoping that SOMEONE out there actually knows who it is, because I still have found jack nothing. Thanks for the help, though. Really.
