Who Hates Updating Windows.

Who here hates updating windows updates???

I sure do.

I spent the last three hours updating.Because i felt like my laptop needed a refresher.I did a full delete and a full format of my SSD.

My Laptop barely has a break or i should say a down time.I know it should have down time but i keep it active.The only time it shuts down is when i clean it out of dust.

You probably think how i keep it cool 24/7.

Well here is how i keep it cool.The item i use is called opolar laptop cooler.This item sucks out the hot air 24/7.You do have to keep it free of dust.You can buy one amazon for around 30 dollars.

This is during full load i can keep it at the same temp playing games like GTA 5 at high settings.

The temp on my laptop barely goes above 95F that is around 35 c.That's pretty cool for a laptop for summer time temps.Now for winter time it stays around 75F.

The main reason why my laptop is active is because i currently do not have a working desktop.I built that back in 1996 and it lasted me that long.It finally died after that many years.That was my first custom built PC.

I will hope fully be building a new one this year.

Yes here 2 Win 7 desktops, 2 Win 8 laptops, and now 2 Win 10 desktops. Update disabled on all. Check Ask Woody on occasion or give a few weeks to check for problems others are having before installing updates, especially on 10. Keep backups handy just in case.

 

Poll needs "I don't run Windows" option. In case the hatred of updates is so strong they changed OS's.

 

I don't like them because I turn off laptop in bed and at midnight it wants to update. So I have to carry it into the dining room and leave it. Bummer.
