    Newegg.

    Alienware bases their pricing on a cheesy name and even cheesier design. As if the appearance of a system actually mattered. rolleyes

    Sadly Alienware got sold out to Dell and are now run under the "old" corporate giant rules of mass production, cheapest parts while maximising profit margins. They have been prostituted and have loss any integrity as far as good gaming systems go.

    Build your own and you will save heaps and have better parts. It is really not that hard to do and there are many guides for building.

    Good links thr Dacads....thrz even an I7 (Octa Core) for $1279:

    Alienware = :crap
    Dell = :crap
    HP = :crap
    Any mass marketed PC = :crap

    LOL

    Build your own. Figure out your budget, then start researching parts. I think you'll be surprised at how inexpensive it really is to build your own PC, and it's much easier than you might think. All you'll need is a Phillips screwdriver and a couple of free hours. There's so many guides online about "how-to build a PC", plus you have us here at MG to help, so it's almost impossible to mess it up. And you'll learn a lot in the process and get a sense of pride in choosing the right parts, then building your own rockin' system.
    :-D
