Why are Sunday's so busy?

I thought people rested on Sunday's? The store is so freakin' busy today! We've already had a customer threaten us with a lawsuit. It's just never ending. Didn't God rest on Sunday? Arn't people supposed to follow his lead, go to church and rest?

Bah!

 

I have a sneaky suspicion God NEVER rests, regardless of what the Bible says.

 

Actually, God rested on Saturday, the seventh day. But most folks don't follow His example anyway. And many people consider shopping to be restful, or at least fun.

@ GT - You can tell I'm not religious or go to church making such a mistake as thinking Sunday was the 7th day. My defense is that it was busy on Sunday and I wrote the message in a hurry.

Thats funny, I thought God always rested on Sunday, but I guess 3 years of not going to church has done that to me

 

Hmmm, it you were Jewish it would be Saturday, or Muslim Friday. Given the nature of the reality show that is us who knows what God finds restfull, he has so many choices.

just my opinion for protection------

Throu my secret grapevine to the house ,I have been told that God has spoken to George W about which day he could have off and George W submitted a bill into congress to have it made into a national holiday but congress ajorned before acting upon it . So it is still a guess as to when God can rest, but George W will get his own way about it for sure and the american people will be the ones to labor over it.

 

Don't get me started on George Bush.
