Why can I not email pictures ?

    What could cause my computer to not email pictures ? I go to Write mail / Insert a picture / I click on the picture I want / click Insert picture & then my computer freezes. I Ctrl + Alt + Delete and it says AOL Not Responding. Can anyone tell me what could cause this ? I've never had this problem before, it just started last week and I haven't been able to seen pics since then.
