I am running XP home - P4 3.0 - 250 gig HDD, Toshiba DVD burner. I cannot copy just Mp3 files to my DVD. I don't what to make an audio CD. It states in windows explorer that my blank DVD that I put into my burner is a cd. When I copy a MP3 and then paste it over to my DVD it states that the computer has had a problem with this file. I click skip but it states it for all of them. I have RiDATA and Verbatim so it's not the medias fault. I also have alcohol 120% but I don't know if that is affecting it.

What could the problem be...do I need another plug in or program to copy these files?

    Thanks for the help?

You should use standalone software for that. The windows CD wizard will not write DVD's. Usually some software ships with the drive.

A free program that will accomplish this is CDBurnerXP
