When I go into my programs list there is only a limited number of programs listed. Why are not all programs installed on my PC listed there? Why are only the basic ones listed? How can I change it to see all programs listed?

If you have installed stand-alone or portable files, those programs won't automatically be on the start menu. You'll have to right click on the executable file in the program's directory and then select "Pin to the Start Menu" or make a shortcut in the program's directory then select "Pin to the Start Menu".

Its not my start menu I am talking about....its the Programs window with uninstall options......check it out.....I know I have more programs installed than this.....where are they all?

The same programs will also not show in the Control Panel section.
How many are you missing? Have you installed many programs whose installers asked you for the desired location, such as C:\Program Files..

So if you followed that and uninstalled programs, of course they will no longer be listed.

I don't understand. How do you know you have more programs installed than that? If they are not listed where are you seeing these "unlisted" programs?

Post a list of these programs you have but aren't shown.

Can you navigate around by using Windows Explorer? If so, go to
    C:\Program Files

Take a screenshot to post. Save it.

    Then go to
    C:\Program Files (x86)

Take a screenshot to post. Save it.

Now add both screenshots to a post so we can see how many installed programs you have. We'll do more once we see these.

    Ask questions if needed.

You still failed to answer how you know you have more programs installed if you don't see them anywhere.

Perhaps you can't find it because it is not on your computer.

I agree with plodr either it's not installed or was denied by the windows defender smartscrean which can happen if it's third party software.

The folder could stay after uninstall.I seen that a million times.A lot of times it ends up being a empty folder. If it has been uninstalled or removed.

    That's one pragram.
    Any other 'missing' programs?

FYI VulkanRT is a hardware program that shouldn't be removed.

VulkanRT helps distribute the workload evenly across a multi-core CPU in addition to lower CPU usage.

The program commonly appears after updating your Nvidia or AMD GPU drivers.

So it's safe to use. This probably works best with a APU processor.

What article are you referring to?

It can be removed in 2004. Are you running that version?
