why can't I start a thread?

every time, it says I am not logged in, which sux after writing 200 words

 

what do you know, it worked! I guess I was writing to much, maybe my computer good tired or I timed out I don't know but all seems to be working now

 

I think you'll find the Forum logs out of itself after a certain time period of 'inactivity'. So if you're making a time consuming thread or reply, it can bomb out on you. Come to think of it, it has happened to me on occasion, as well.

 

This is because the "Remember Me" box is no longer checked by default. You have to check this box in order to stay logged in.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot about that, meself.

If I'm writing a long winded post I paste it to Notepad before I submit it.

 

That's the best thing to do, I have lost too many post not doing this.
