Why can't my computer open dbx files?

    If my email is put in dbx files, why can't my computer open those files? I have ME (thumbs down on this operating system); I would think if the computer saves files, it should have some way of opening them up.

    .dbx files are database files for each folder in Outlook Express. When you view your folders and messages in OE, you are viewing those files.
