why do i keep getting reinfected?

    Can anyone tell me why i keep getting re-infected in spite of following all of the recommended "protect from malware" practices? i have sp2, firewall, antivirus, spywareblaster, spyware doctor...yet after cleaning everything out, a few hours later i had 13 new infections. i ran the symantec check which said i was protected from internet intrusions. what is going on?

    by the way... i haven't surfed the net except to go to major geek sites...i've spent the last two days trying to clean out all of the malware. just when i think it is clean, it is reinfected.
