why does my disconnect add on not work right anymore

for some reason its always showed the number as green like the tinypic picture but now it depends on the webpage because some times id get on a webpage and the number would be grey or whatever

 

Assuming your browser is Firefox 34 or the FF 35 update, this seems to be the issue. If you go to the add-on page for the extension and read the recent reviews, you are not the only one having the issue you are having. If you are not running Firefox, I have no idea.

 

I also run Firefox and have similar results.
You might try changing themes as that affects the color.
