But why does the malware get past the sanbox and some malware get past anti-virus program when later on the anti-virus program finds it.That so strange later on it finds it!!

Some malware it blocks and other malware it does not but what strange is it finds it later!! What is wrong with the anti-virus program when it does this.

That say Kaspersky blocks some malware and other malware it does not and slips by and does not get blocked to later on Kaspersky finds it but it is well on the system.

Possibly the malware is "in the wild" and analysis of it hasn't been performed yet, leading to the definition updates that would then detect/block/disinfect it.

Hi! There isn't any program that is 100%. New threats are being created every day. That's why programs are always up dating their definitions to keep up with new threats. IMHO, you need to run a program like Malwarebytes with your Anti=Virus for a added layer of protection.:wave

Kaskpersky well blocks 90% of the malware for me and the other malware that slips by Kaskpersky that gets on the system if I run Kaskpersky scan it finds it and remove it.

As oneeyejack mentioned, nothing is going to be 100% effective, but I think dr. moriarty's explanation is the most likely answer to what you are describing.

    You also mentioned a "sandbox".
I have never used one but as I understand it, if you are browsing from within a sandbox,
any malware that you come across should not be able to affect the rest of your system,
since it is contained within the sandbox environment.

I thought all I needed was Kaspersky and that was it?

What you need was explained to you in your other thread. There is no point in debating this issue. :major

Your talking about layer secuity and I'm putting all my eggs in one basket of just using Kaspersky and not keeping windows and software updated and having other malware remover tools and firewall so on.

Possibly the malware is "in the wild" and analysis of it hasn't been performed yet, leading to the definition updates that would then detect/block/disinfect it.

I think you may be right and that why .

If I had layer secuity it would cut down on the chance the malware made its way to the system.

He just saying I'm putting my eggs in one basket by not having layer secuity .

And the fact out of the box windows computer , active-x ,Java ,scrip, macro and flash so on.With out tweeking the settings.

Yes, as explained in your other thread. So the only question is are you going to heed the advice or not. Or do you just plan on starting additional threads to keep beating this dead horse?
