why does windows installer display after i run dvd flick

i have just installed the latest version of dvd flick (key word just installed) and for some reason when i try to run the program windows installer displays and is saying that it is preparing for installation after i have already installed it whats the deal how can i stop it from doing this

i also have this problem with microsoft frontpage (i don't know what i was thinking at the time i installed it) but whenever i try to run frontpage the windows installer pops up again and when i try to uninstall it it doesn't uninstall successfuly, but the dvd flick program uninstalls successfuly every time just every time i install it and try to run it windows installer shows up whats the deal how can i make it stop

 

You have some issues with Windows installer. You can try running the Windows Installer Clean Up tool (available from this link) and select the troublesome programs from the list it provides. You may have to re-install the programs. Read the info at the link I provided for details. If that doesn't work, you may want to re-install (or update) your Windows installer.
