Why don't I see Sata III recomendations?

I was under the impression that Sata III was twice as fast as Sata II, but everywhere I look, relatively new computers under $1300 are all Sata II, is it really that much more money? Or is it that it's just not worth considering it, it's not even an option when you try searching through NewEgg, Cnet, Amazon, ect.

My Intel 520 ssd says it's Sata 6 support, but I believe because of the laptop I use I run on sata 3. How do I tell if my next laptop is sata 3 upgradable?

Also, I'm sure you've notice I'm all sorts of confused, any help articles or YouTube video recommendations would be helpful.

Hello, there's no Sata 6 (yet), what you're seeing is the bandwidth of the Sata 3 port which is 6gb/s while Sata 2 Drives run at 3gb/s.

I'm not sure where you're looking on the sites but I did check newegg prior to posting this and I did find plenty of cheap systems with Sata 3.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229562 this one for example is only 300$ and has Sata 3.
