Why is firewall asking me to approve DLL's

Hi, I just started using Online Armor instead of Windows firewall. It works fine, except that I'm getting many Autorun popups asking me to approve many DLL files that seem to be part of MS Office, even when I don't have Office open. Some of them are requested by Windows/system32.

Even though I have the box checked for "remember my decision," I keep getting asked about these files. Can someone explain why?

    Thanks,

Don't use Online Armor but a guess is that you installed a Windows Update and hence all the pop-ups, look up the .dll file and see if part of MS to be safe though.

Thanks - yes, I think I installed a Windows update to Excel, but I keep getting the popups. I googled a few of the DLL files and they appear legitimate..not sure how I could really tell, though.

Since I don't use Online Armor not the best person to answer this but from what I see, you can look at the file path and warning level. Is the file coming from Windows Update? What is the level, if green it's telling you this file is ok.

There is also an installation mode, that will stop the pop-ups when you install updates to Windows or MS software.

    This will explain it better
