Any idea why this is? When I use IE on my pc's (work or home), it's noticeably slower than when I use Netscape. Is there anything I can do to speed up IE?

There is a simple answer to this: Microsoft made IE, and that's why it is so slow and resource hogging... (just kidding)

Try cleaning your temporary internet files and clearing your history through the internet options in the control panel. Note: Your computer may lock up or stop responding when clearing the junk, so give it a minute or two and if it still doesn't respond, reset it.

Using another IE based browser like slimbrowser helps speed up the action. It's IE based but has a lot less bloat. Also CachemanXP helps speed up your browser by intelligently allocating ram and other neat tweaks. You should probably run Adaware, Spybot and Regsupreme (available on MG -- use the "search" button on the main page.) also. Happy Hunting ;)
