Why is Spy Hunter and Norton Anti Virus a bad deal?

Nortons is bloatware. Massive registry entries, programs and memory and cpu usage. I use avast and do this for a living and I am always virus free. It rocks Nortons world. Even Nortons cant tell you how to completely uninstall it.

Finally, does your friend know the history of spyware? Steve Gibson originally found it and had the first tool. He then dropped it because Lavasoft and Ad-Aware did a great job. A few others, like Spybot are good as well, but they are all Johnny come latelies and wanna bes.

Tell your friend to go buy a clue. Anyone who defends Nortons as the best should be shot on the spot.
