I have two sticks of 256MB PC-3200(400) Running in Dual Channel. When i go into my BIOS, It only gives me the option of 266, 333 and Auto. Why is it not reading 400?, I checked the Motherboards compatability and it says it supports Dual channel, unbuffered, 2.5V DDR266/333/400, max 4GB. i have also updated my BIOS to the most recent one offered but nothing changed memory wise. What could it be?

I downloaded the manual for your board, I'm checkin it out.
Yes the board does support up to DDR400.
In bios are you set to Auto? if not set it to auto.
Are running any system info programs like Aida or Everest:

Run either of them and see what speed your memory is running at.

I'm currious what CPU are you running?

Hey Asus thanks for the help, i ran both programs and it says PC 3200 so i guess its running at 400. Although it does not give me the option of 400 in the BIOS i have it set to AUTO and maybe it picks it up from there. By the way I am running an Intel Pentium4 2.26Ghz 533 FSB.

    Hi,

Sounds like a bios problem, when you upgraded the bios was it to fix this problem? Did the last bios version have a 400 option? Watch for additional bios updates to fix this.

I figured it out, The BIOS is only reading 266 and 333 because my Front Side Bus is 533. In order for my Motherboard to run at PC-3200 i would need to be running 800 Front Side Bus.
