    You can sideload a browser on to one, but I can recall doing that on a Firestick made for a buggy experience.

    There's also the option to get a netbook, or just cast your phone, as well as using a hub to connect peripherals.

    I'd rather use a computer as a not that smart TV.

    Those £20 TV boxes are okay for general use, with a neat interface. But they often falsely put 4K on the cover. A lie. They all use the mobile software which runs at a maximum of 1080p. If you get a Google certified one, you get the real deal.

    Those Chinese boxes come with bloatware and you could possibly be hacked.
