Why won't the right side of the printing print?

I always have this problem with trying to get the right hand side of the printed page to print. This happens when I try to print the text of a web page. No matter what I try it is always cropped off.

I have no problem with Word or other text editors printing the full page, only web pages.

I know that the issue is likely very easy to fix but that fix has eluded me.

Any help out there?

Trying to remember. When you go to print click on tab. Do you see a tab that says printable image above or below the print tab? If so, open the page with that and try printing from it.

 

There is no print "tab". The page is like what you would find in a NYT or Fox News article which says "print". When you select that, it opens another page which is in printable form, no graphics, etc.

When I click on that page's "print" selection I get the usual Microsoft print function drop down. From there I simply do what I usually do to print any other printable text editor page; but in the case of web pages it clips of the entire right side of the print.

If you print from IE, go to print preview and then when the new window comes up, make sure shrink to fit is selected. Also select settings which is the little gear at the top and make sure your margins are the same between left and right.

For Firefox, File>Print Preview and then the Page Setup button. Make sure the left and right margins are the same.

 

BINGO!!!!

Firefox has a "shrink to fit page" selection and that did it.
