why?

i entered this search query "why cant i access disc defragmenter?" it took me to a forum which i read. 1 of the topics stated that a particular download would fix my problem. the price seemed fair enough $9.95 so i got into my paypal and downloaded this regcure which charged me almost $50.00 and i still CANNOT access disc defragmenter. what kind of crap are you trying to do here? i expect this problem to be taken care of so SOMEBODY needs to contact me to rectify this situation. i think that you already have my email address.:confused

Welcome to Major Geeks.
IMO, your first and worse,mistake was getting RegCure. Anything that claims to "clean" the Registry, I avoid like the Plague.
I have found that they usually cause more harm than good. Worse case scenario is a machine that doesn't boot and requires a Repair install or a fresh install.
I know there are some here who will disagree with me, but notice, I did say IMO and will stick with it.
