Ok, this is a wierd one...

When I try to access ANY Microsoft website, my browser just sits there and does NOTHING. It doesn't try to load page or anything. I can type in www.microsoft.com (for example) and press the Go button and the brower will not respond AT ALL. No matter how long I wait and no matter how many times I press the Go button, nothing happens. I can then type in forums.majorgeeks.com (for example) and the brower will IMMEDIATELY go there.

    ANY IDEAS?!?!?

I had this problem after installing VMWare and found that I was not the only one:

I've also heard it can be to do with your MTU setting and DrTCP can fix this if you set your MTU to 1472. Google for DrTCP and download it.

Very good. Glad you found the problem. Did the conflicker eyechart link help you at all?
