Wierd thing.....

    You know if you have made a posting in a thread, you get a tick by the thread title, so you know which ones you have responded too? Well I have at least 2 with my name NEXT to them as the last poster on that thread, but there is no tick. Issues?

    Others that I have posted on DO have a tick.

    Most likely one of the weird quirks with this version of VB forum software, hopefully the next update will remove some of these oddities.

    I made a curry this weekend as we had a friend visiting who also loves curry. My husband had left over beef stew hehe....wimp!

    Oh gosh..it's tonight isn't it? England 3 - Sweden 1 with Rooney scoring 2 of them. They'd better sharpen up on their game after the Trinidad/Tobago big girls blouse match!!!!

    I bought my tickets last night to Old Blighty for Christmas :D I'm excited.

    Yeppers kickoff is in about 40mins.... He may well do or will he take it easy as the injury is still a fresh one, OH YEAH, totally agree they were poop against T&T .... I actually turned the TV off 40mins in and went out.... missed the goals mind.


    Neat on tickets.... will pre-book some Snow, Wind and Rain for you to arrive to ;)

    Didnt see what happened to Owen as I was finding you those links! :)

    They played poop again.. usual go 1 goal ahead and all drop back and defend, unlike Sweden who pushed forward the whole game.. pittiful play by England, Sorry but I thing they fluked their way through this round... not going to be good enough in the knockouts next chaps.


    Damm glad I prefer Motor Racing to football these days.

    From the text they sounded good for the first half, had a distinct advantage with %age ball possession. Ecuador next on Saturday.......they need to pull their socks up for this one,as you say.

    Nascar was good on Sunday too, except Stuart got rear ended near the start. Was nice to see Jeff Gordon actually back up front again, instead of pansying in the middle. Junior's new colors aren't as great IMHO.

    Sadly not got to watch any of this seasons Nascar racing as its way past my bedtime, plus it makes me dizzy all that going around and around ;), any Brits in Nascar.... ah just remembered it was CART and Dario Franchitti ( Scot ).


    But yes England have goto step up a few gears against Equador, on paper they should easily win, but what have Equador go to loose by just attacking.

    It would do Lev if it wasnt broadcast at 2am in the morning on nightime TV for the Insomniacs ( not you Insom mate ).

    The World Rally Series has taken off tho again... had a bit of a lapse after Colin McRae faded out.

    I did last year watch most of the CART series but again that time slot has shifted if on at all, not noticed.

    Actually the little check mark by the replied number on the forum view. That's to show if you are subscribed to the thread. An easy way to see if you have replied is click on the #of replies column. Example: If there are 67 replies, click onthe 67 and it will show every person who has replied to that thread. So if there is a check mark, you are subscribed to that thread, by whichever method you have as your default (or chose in the additional options when you posted the reply/thread).

    Lev which browser you using?

    tried a different one to check... I would suggest Opera 9 to see if it makes a difference.

    Dunno Lev, must be one of the quirks of this version of VB affecting you, some members have their Avatars and Pics corrupted, not noticed this anomalie... but just think you are special in being the only one with this at present, just dont shout too loud or they all with want the same ;) :)

    Work? Pah!! We had to "let someone go" Friday and the atmosphere is really sucky. I reviewed one of my team last week...awesome employee..... I have another to review next week...unfortunately it is NOT going to be a repeat performance, and I will have to wear my Queen B hat for it :rolleyes:

    My end is fine thanks ;)

    Yeah job is going really well, busy busy bee at present, just had a small conference a week or so ago, which we held ( so had much to organise for that, IT wise ) and it was a sucess, with some superb guest speaker and much was learnt. Few new drugs trials coming up but dont know if we will be dealing with those, but as my boss the Prof did make a point of telling me about these in last weeks clinic meeting I guess it maybe a yes and we will be even busier.

    Another project on Diabeties early stage computerised auto recognition seems promising at this early stage.. but still much to analyse, have no idea what hardware we would use.. as this is all computer simulations against real patient macula images.

    Sad on letting someone go, I bet that sucks, plus puts eevryone on a downer for ages too.... I guess this next review is not going to be pretty.

    hehe....I switched to vB 6 months ago, and ever since...I have been in love.

    My forum tends to take random tangents also.

    I like vB6 too, just has some issues to work out, then again its like most other software in that respect.

    You will love the Software, Hardware and Driver forums then... so any more techy help is apprieciated :)

    Seriously though, all you say makes sense Renae, but it's still not what I am seeing. I have no subscription to any threads set, yet randonly some have the check and some don't. So while your theory may be correct, in practice it's the reality that the checks are all screwed up HAHA.
