I have an Abit AN8 32X that works perfectly fine. Except for one thing I can't figure out.

Why do only some of the USB ports in the rear I/O recognize certain devices? It seems like half the ports there are useless because they give nothing but USB device not recognized, then I'll use a different device and it will work fine?

I have no idea. The devices I usually use through USB are a Logitech G5, G11, a Line 6 POD X3 LIVE, and an Xbox 360 pad. Each of these devices will only work in 2 of the 4 slots, but if I get things right I can have all except the X360 pad plugged in and working no problem...

Surely all USB ports should be created equal?
