XP Pro, SP3, current updates, T60p Thinkpad, DualCPU,

When I clicked on a specific video I got this error:

Error - 2002: a bad public movie atom was found in the movie [file name] (I've double checked and there is no typo in the foregoing line.)

    Anybody ever see this before?

what program are you using to view the movie? what file type is it? (ie. avi, mpg, mp4, etc)

upon looking further, it's an itunes/quicktime error. a public atom stores information about the clip for the player to read. A weird solution to this seems to be to create a .zip file with the video, then unzip it again.
or try another program to view it.

Yes it was mp4 and QT. I thought another program did it too, but can't remember or figure which.

But the ZIP trick didn't work. I'll either convert it or download another copy.
