wierdness

    splitt3r You are now the victim of a drive by title change

    on my mobo near teh sata ports it says SATA1 SATA2 SATA3 SATA4 and tehre are 2 SATA ports next 2 little markings that look like additional SATA ports but there are none there, it's like they forgot to put in the extra SATA ports, it is an ASUS board.

    Thats normal / common.... Mobo makers make dif versions of a mobo... the hi end has all the SATA ports and the lower end ( cheaper ) versions have less ....

    thanks ace, tahts all I wanted to know, just thought it was wierd, the board is marked like it has 4 but only has 2, I reall could care less, the hdd that came iwth it is ide and if I ever upgrade 1 SATA drive should be enough, i was just curious.
