I am using a Panasonic cordless phone and one of the 2.4 wireless extensions with the base is sitting about 2 to 3 feet from my wireless router and I am not having any issues. I have had 2 netgear routers and an old Linksys that close in the past with no issues. Thay is not to say you do not have a problem. What is actually dropping, your router or your modem? How old are they?

like i said , if i am sitting close to the phone uniden 2.4 wireless ( my router is a 1 month old e2000 n dual band ) i get repaeated droped signals on my computer . it goes to can not find this poage and either have to use repair connection or run the windows diagnostic
this happens with my dell e 1705 ( ex pro media , and my acer mini 9 ( xp home both on sp3
this even happens when i am in another room ( have cslled cox and the modem is fine and their service is there
do i have a conflict with the phone and the router ?
i do still have 49 days of free links tech service left .:confused... like i said the error is a 12007

You might want to get yourself a set of 5.8GHz phones to eliminate the problems. Been there, had to do this.

i use cox cable, what is droping is the computer, i than reset the modem than the router and the connection comes back . i call cox and they do a signal search for drops and say there is none . but if the modem drops , why would all the strength lights be on ( all 4 green n orange) if it lost connecttion all but one green would be on . the router is 12 feet from the phone
