    A lot of them settings can be changed if needed.

    I normally switch out my 1GB connection on windows for 100 mps.Data transfer rate seems faster at 100mps.

    Super slow. But more importantly, 802.11b is much less secure than the newer protocols. For that reason alone, you need to abandon any 11b connections and migrate to something newer - at least 11g, 11n would be better, and 11ac better still.

    Theoretically rated at 11Mbps. Most I ever got in real life was 4.5Mbps
