wifi/internet on the road/not sure what?

    SO if i travel alot on the road what am i looking for as far as internet access while im on the side of the interstate and such?? any specific carrier recommendations??? a connection good enough for some world of warcraft action maybe?

    If you need to get online anywhere you'll need to use something like Verizon or Sprint or ATT mobile broadband. They supply you with a USB device or a cardbus adapter for your laptop that will connect to the internet thru cell phone towers. The speed is OK but I wouldn't rely on it for WoW....
     
  3. NO KIDDING!! Now "man that's fast" from them! I had alltel for a year and a couple of friends had Verison and sprint and even under the best conditions the speed was...well at best ok.Also don't expect any reception in the mountains. I used mine between Shreveport LA to Branson MO and all over AR and there is some plces the I had no reception at all!! For miles!!!
