I have been through other suggested similar threads. Doesn't help me. So..

I have a Dell Inspiron N5010 2+ yr old laptop. I have a AT&T connection on this laptop and it worked absolutely fine until 2 days ago. At a certain point while browsing internet, randomly, the WiFi stopped working displaying "No Internet Access". I tried all the obvious on/off swtich, antenna hacks, problem persisted.

I found out that only WiFi wasn't working. I could access Internet through wired connection. So I tried to uninstall and reinstall the Network Adapter drivers checking with Dell website for my model and tag number. Device manager now shows no Exclamatory marks and all network adapters are being shown installed and up to date. But now I can access internet neither through WiFi nor wire. Huh...:confused and :irritated

It's been 2 days now. I hope someone here can show me a way.

Does it do the same thing, when you connect to another hotspot somewhere else? What is the manufacturer & model of ATT router are you using?

The problem was resolved. ZoneAlarm Firewall was restricting and messing with the wifi drivers.
    Thanks for help anyway....

Dump that garbage, no need for it. If running Windows, the built in Firewall is enough, especially when roaming. At home on our Access Points, we turn off the firewall, because there is no need for it inside our LAN.

Roaming is a different story, then you can have Windows set to turn it on for a "Public" network, like a hotspot, friend's house, etc., where you would want it on.

Just wondering, Avast is facing problems updating the virus definitions after this incident. Wonder why !? It says: "Cannot connect to the server"
