I am a college student and we are wireless connected. I have a laptop that is not my primary source for computing, but I want to access the wireless network through my laptop when I am on campus. It's a few years old, and is a Dell Inspiron 8200, our university network requires a VPN, and I know that is installed, but how do i determine if my laptop has a 802.11b card or whatever it is. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

If your laptop is a few years old, it probably doesnt have onboard wireless, if it does ithe icon should show up in the bottom right corner of your screen.
