Wifi keeps failing

Hi

I usually use IntelProSet Wirless to manage my wifi connection (home and away) but lately I have noticed some difficulties in remaining connected.
I have then started to use Windows Wireless Manager which worked fine until today.

So basically this is what I get.

In the detected network window I see my home wifi connection and a full strength signal.
I log on the net and whilst it might work, after a few seconds or minutes depending, the icon in the task bar which shows the network strenght loses the signal just momentarily before regaining its full strenght.
It is intermittent but continuous (if you see what I mean) which makes my connection useless.

I have used an ethernet cable to see the difference. It works normally.

I have looked at the device manage to see if I could see a conflict but I have not seen anything obvious.

PS: By the way, I forgot to mention that I have another PC using the same wifi network and without any problem whatsoever.

Seemingly it is a widespread issue and there is more than one way to sort it out.
It seems that my problem is now sorted (why did it happen I don't know) but it took some time and effort.
So what did I do ?
I tried pretty much everything people mentioned in that link above plus I reset my wifi box a couple times (to run the update) and I uninstalled/re installed Intel ProSet wifi.
So I have no idead what really did it but it is now working !!! Yipeee !!!
