Sorry to ask this as im sure its a stuiped question but. Is it possible to connect a wifi modem in room A to a router in room B without cables?

Ive just recived a Sky Hd box & im trying to setup Anytime+ but having problems with my router connecting to the net.

If both are wifi, you might be able to setup the router as a bridge to the wifi modem. Unfortunately though not all routers are able to set to bridge mode and not all wifi devices play well together.
