Wii

Have a Wii that works in every way but only in black and white no color. Can anyone tell me what might be causing that and how to fix it? Thanks!!

 

I should of said this just started and it use to work fine also I have checked all connections and they are connected right, nothing is loose.

 

Try with a different cable as well, just to rule it out.

 

Agreed,on most of my older TV's if you selected AV2 while the console was connected to AV1'scart' it would be in black and white,or blurred.

 

I posted this in 12/05/09. Didn't expect to see post now after all this time. It has been resolved and best I remember we unplugged it and took all the cables off and left it sitting for a couple of weeks untouched. Then decided to give it another try and hooked it back up and it worked. As I said we had checked all the cables in the beginning and it did not help so why it fixed it's self was strange. So still a mystery as to what caused it but it has not happen again.
But thanks for your post and suggestions anyway.

OOPS did not mean to post twice.
But how did they get my email address? And there is no post by them here.

 

The MG forum is set up to email you when someone replies to a thread you're subscribed to. In you User Control Panel (User CP in upper left) you can see and manage your subscriptions.

The reason you don't see the spam anymore is because the moderators have nuked it from orbit. It was the only way. :major
