Your aunt is so lucky to have such good person in her family. You and your family are in my prayers. My wife just went home recently and I will pray that she has the honor to be with your aunt.

Thanks so much everyone. She is still tied to the bounds of earth, her daughter has her in a care facility now.

Wherever she is, I hope your aunt can see her last days out in comfort and peace.

 

She didn't recognize me, thinks her daughter is her sister most of the time, it's sad to see her like that. She was the one who took charge of things, took care of people when they were incapable.

Funny side to this is she went to the same place my mother was after she had a stroke. My aunt visited often and was demanding, bossy, I imagine down right mean at times.
When I mentioned to her they might remember her there, her mind cleared enough to give a laugh and say, "oh god I hope not"
Thought that was funny.
Like I say - what goes around comes around.

 

It makes it all the more obvious how much of a decent person you are, not to bear a grudge after remembering your aunt in that way.
