Will Hijack this work?

Recently I had a problem with my MSN messenger. My audio convesations kept cutting off for no reason. I was also having problems with my browser. I'd be on a page or site reading and all of a sudden I'd get the webpage unavailable message. I ran Ad-Aware personnal SE 1.05 and found that I had been hit with Netsetter. Ad-aware had all kinds of problems trying to remove it and it took me two hours of rebooting and running ad-aware and manually deleting the regkey and program before I finally got rid of it. Now seeing as Ad-Aware couldn't remove it easily, would Hijackthis remove it or have made it any easier forme to remove it?

 

giant adware removed every prob ive had to date i know most people dont like it because of the stolen core thing but ive never had a prob w/ it as far as hijack this goes i tried it but didnt like the interface
