Will I see much of an increase?

I'm upgrading a ****** Dimension E310 into a mildly good entertainment center, but the mobo doesn't even support PCI-Express, so It's going to be a little hard. It's going from 256 MB of RAM and an integrated card to 768 MB of RAM and, I guess (Sine I think it's the best available to me), a Radeon X1300. How much of an increase should I expect? I have a really nice monitor (32" HDTV), and I wanted a rig that would play emus, play and record videos, and play games within the range of WoW (Nothing like Oblivion or FEAR >_>

With a 32" LCD, you would want to play games at high resolution, but with that card, you'll probably be stuck at 1024x768 or lower. The X1300 is really a budget card. The emulators will be no problem though, assuming you mean fairly old ones like NES, SNES, Genesis, etc.

That states that the Max resolution is 2048x1536. Shouldn't that be enough?
