will ie6 work well with windows me...

    because i'm stuck with ie5.5 right now. i know i need to get xp and quit messin' with me but i can't afford it at this point. last time i tried to d/l and install 6 i never could get it to work right? any ideas?:eek:

    What error message do you get when you try to install IE 6?

    i don't remember it was so long ago. i haven't tried to do it again recently. ithought since it is recommmended that i install windows xp from scratch and not upgrade from me that i would lose ie5.5 and go to 6 when i did the clean install.
