Will NEC ND-6650 DVD drive fit my pavilion ZX5060?

HP won't tell me, anybody know?

 

Do you have a spare drive bay in your case? Can you remove the existing drive?

 

I don't think so, I'm want to replace my crappy burner with th NEC, I haven't purchased it yet.

 

Well, if it has a cd or dvd rom drive already in it, then yes, you can replace it with the new one. You would only have a problem if you couldn't replace the existing drive. On the new drive, there will be diagram showing you how to position the jumper to configure the drive as master, then you just hook it up how/where the existing drive is.
