Will someone guide me

    Hey, my roomates computer that is networked to mine has a lot of spyware problems... He has asked me to post his HJT log onto this site.... So may I please post his log and get some advice on what to fix with HJT....Thanx for the help in advance if someone will...

    I thought you were adept at dealing with malware?
    I'm tied up with work these days, but, if you go ahead and attach his HJT log, I'm sure somebody will offer assistance.

    Well, I guess I am not as good as I thought... I have to be humble here... You guys know way more than I ever could... You see... I am confused about his Log...He has so many 04's, it's hard to differ what is needed and not... And besides, I don't want to mess his computer up at all....It's a really good one and he would kill me....

    You have the HSA hijacker. Your need to follow the steps of READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal

    Pay particular attention to running HSremove and About:Buster. Make sure you have the current versions (click the links to check).

    After running the READ ME, HSremove and About:Buster, post a new log and let us know where things stand.

    Note: It may be necessary to run About:Buster a couple of times. Run in normal boot mode and immediately reboot after it finishes but boot into safe mode. Then run AB again. Reboot normal mode and run it again (just to make sure). If it comes up clean this last time, chances are better that we got most of the infection if not all. After opening and closing IE a few times, we should know.
